Dried Food for Emergencies or Everyday Use
Dried food can be used for emergencies or for everyday cooking. Several years ago my family began locating and buying dried food to use in case of an emergency. We began putting it on shelves in the garage and rotating every few months as we would add more.
At the time we began to stockpile the bird flu or avian flu virus was the big news story. So we were gathering everything we could without breaking the bank.
